Getting started on the Box API

By

Our goal at Box is to make it as easy as possible for developers to build great products, tools and integrations on top of our platform.  This desire is what drove us to launch the new version of our API in December, and we’re continuing to iterate on our code to serve the developer community even better. In an effort to enable our developers to build even more top-notch applications, we’re going to be rolling out a series of blog posts and videos to help people get started on our API.  The topics will be wide ranging: from how to get your first application started, to authenticating using OAuth 2.0, to using Postman to make various API calls.

The first in this series of posts is a walk-through of how you can register for a developer account and set up your first application in the developer console. We’ll also cover our documentation pages and point you to other areas to find more help if needed.  If you have any requests on topics you’d like us to cover in future posts, please don’t hesitate to add a comment in the comments section of this post for us to review.
