Come Meet Box at the Valley’s Best Developer Conferences

By

Conference season is rapidly descending upon us, and this year’s set of developer events looks to be a good one. If you haven’t heard already, as part of our BoxWorks customer conference this year, we’ll be hosting a full day of developer-oriented content. We call it Developer Day, and for next the five days, tickets are half off – get yours now for only $99!

In addition to that, we’ll be joining three of our favorite partners for their conferences – Salesforce’s Dreamforce, Twilio’s TwilioCon and Appcelerator’s CODESTRONG. Here’s the rundown of what our schedule looks like in the next month and a half – if you’re in the area, come out and say hi!

BoxWorks Developer Day – October 9

Developer Day will be a full day of content targeted to developers, independent software vendors, and system integrators building enterprise apps on the Box platform. In addition to a full day of enablement with sessions and the ability to interact with Box experts, your Developer Day ticket will also give you access to Box CEO Aaron Levie’s morning keynote, and our afterparty which will feature a performance by weezer.

Keep following this blog over the next few weeks – we’ll be making some big announcements about Developer Day. It’s going to be huge, so grab your ticket now.

Dreamforce Dev Zone – September 18-21

Dreamforce is back, and rest assured we’ll be part of the fun. Join us next week in the heart of the Dev Zone in Moscone West. We’ll be presenting 2 sessions that are open to full-conference pass holders. Our very own Peter Rexer, Sr PM of Platform, will be talking about our new v2 API, and our Mobile PMs Michael Smith and Simon Tan will offer an overview of Box OneCloud, our revolutionary ecosystem of mobile enterprise apps.

There’s still time to register for Dreamforce. Sign up here and get $200 off.

TwilioCon – October 16-18

TwilioCon is going to have three days packed with content that you don’t want to miss. In addition to dozens of breakout sessions, there will also be top-notch keynote speakers like Ron Conway, Dave McClure, Jeff Lawson, and our very own Aaron Levie.

In true Twilio style, the conference will also feature a hackathon, so get ready to build something great and win some awesome prizes. Since Twilio knows how great Box developers are, they’ve given us a special discount code to pass along to you – just register using the code BOXVIP25 for 25% off of your ticket price. If you’re planning to attend, be sure to stop by the Box booth and say hello!

Appcelerator CODESTRONG – October 21-23

Finally, we’ll also be a part of CODESTRONG, Appcelerator’s annual developer conference. It features a ton of sessions that cover every aspect of mobile development, from coding to design to selling your product. On top of that, there will be a new kind of hackathon, dubbed Hack to Help, in which 12 teams of hackers will build mobile apps for great charities including the Michael J. Fox Foundation and the Wounded Warrior Project. Mobile apps and helping people – that’s a combination that we can get behind.

The final piece of CODESTRONG is the Appcelerator Mobile Dev Challenge, featuring over $30,000 in prizes for innovative mobile apps, plus a trip out to CODESTRONG for the top two winners to launch their app on stage. Of course, the most important part of the challenge is the Box prize! We’ll be giving away $5,000 for app that best uses the Box API. The deadline for submission is September 30, so get coding!
